Must have wait times for restaurants in downtown Harrisonburg.

  • The app must reflect those current wait times so that there is no false assumption that the restaurant has a longer wait than expected.
  • It must be easy to understand how long the wait is and for which type of seating the wait is for. Is it for the dining room or the bar side?

You must be able to see the menu of restaurants in downtown Harrisonburg.

  • This will make it easier to compare the menus of different restaurants to see where you want to eat.
  • It is more convenient to see them all in one app than having to search them up all individually in a search engine and having to possibly go through many clicks to reach the menu.
  • Seeing the menus before you get to the restaurant means that you can see if there are foods that cater to your food allergies if there are any.
  • Knowing what you want in advance may mean that your food gets ordered and served to you quicker.
  • You will also be able to see the prices of the food in advance so you know what you will have to pay.

The app should include a feature to reserve a table.

  • If the user sees that there is a long wait, they want the option to reserve a seat for a time later, so that they do not have to wait.
  • If the user sees that there is no current wait, it allows them to secure a spot so that they don’t have to worry about showing up and there now being a wait time.
  • This feature makes it more reliable that the user will get a table to eat at their preferred restaurant downtown.
